Artists Under Fire

Stirring posters created by Vietnamese combat artists on the battlefield inspired communist forces to victory. The North Vietnamese Communists waged war against first the French (1946-54) and later the Americans (1960-75) from a position of inferiority in firepower and mechanized mobility. This forced them to utilize traditional low-level technology against their far superior opponents. North
