History Talks: Gouverneur Morris – Draftsman of the Constitution

Often out-shined by Thomas Jefferson’s work on the Declaration of Independence, Morris drafted the U.S. Constitution, with his most famous section, the preamble, being cited later by Abraham Lincoln. Later in his life, Morris witnessed the French Revolution and wrote a detailed memoir of his experiences.
